Qualche notizia sul borgo:
San Giovanni si trova a pochi km dal mare di Cattolica. Due sono periodi che l’hanno caratterizzata : il Medioevo e l’ottocento. Fu definito il granaio dei Malatesta, i signori che la governavano nel periodo medioevale. Delle 6 torri che formavano la fortezza ne rimane solo una, in seguito trasformata in torre campanaria. Bellissimo il teatro Massari ben conservato dove ogni anno si tengono stagioni teatrali molto interessanti.

Some news about the village:
San Giovanni is located a few km from the sea. There are two periods that characterized it: the Middle Ages and the nineteenth century. It was defined as the granary of the Malatesta, the lords who ruled it in the medieval period. Of the 6 towers that formed the fortress, only one remains, which was later transformed into a bell tower. The well-preserved Massari theater is beautiful, where very interesting theatrical seasons are held every year.
